Dear 505 officers and sailors,

We are happy to inform you that the online registration for the 2010 505 World Championship in Aarhus, Denmark is now open.

You will find the online entry form by clicking here and the Notice of Race by clicking here

All competitors are encouraged to enter as soon as possible in order to help the organizers in preparing the best event possible. Please note that closing date for entries at a regular fee is 15th June 2010.

Accommodation

We have published a number of accommodation possibilities at the event web and we are also pleased to be able to offer you free camping space (power comp. excluded) for your own caravan or tent at the sailing centre. Space, however, is limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. If you need any guidance regarding alternative accommodation possibilities, please contact us and we will try to help you out.

Catering

Through the online booking it is possible to pre order breakfast and sandwich tickets to be used at the sailors lounge during the event. The restaurant “Kaløhus” at the sailing centre will stay open during the whole event and offer a vast choice of menus both to sailors and your relatives. At the opening ceremony, the midway party and the prize giving ceremony a buffet will be served, which is included in the entry fee. If you should need extra tickets for these events for your relatives, you will be able to purchased them at the registration desk at the sailing centre.

Transportation

If you need transportation of your boat we advise you to contact the events official logistics provider, DB Schenker who will do their best to help you and your team getting your boat and equipment safe to Denmark and back home again.

If you bring your own boat you will find the Kaløvig Sailing Centre easy to find, only a few km from the nearest highway exit – please visit the event web pages “how to get here” for further information.

We hope that you will distribute this information to all your fellow 505 sailors and if you have any questions please do not hesitate in contacting us.

We look forward to welcoming you in Denmark.
